Saw Operative

Cool Recruitment is recruiting for Saw operatives for our clients busy site based on the outskirts of Edinburgh.The main purpose of this role is to operate the saw to process customer orders and orders for stock. Ensure material is safely banded and marked to customer specifications which will be provided.Working on Monday to Friday rotating shiftsWeek 1 0600 - 1500Week 2 1430 - 2300Key Responsibilities are to:Set up the sawSelect, inspect and load component materialCarry out processing of materialCarry out and record finished goods inspections as specifiedIdentify programming and set up errors and pass to Warehouse manager for rectificationUse of equipment to move finished product but full training will be givemEnsure equipment is maintained to a high standard of cleanlinessExperienceExperience of working within a fast paced Manufacturing or Engineering settingWorking to safe manufacturing processes andIT literateFull training will be given.Applicants please note as part of the recruitment process a Drug & Alcohol test will be carried out at interview stage.For the purposes of the Conduct Regulations 2003, when advertising permanent vacancies we are acting as an Employment Agency, and when advertising temporary/contract vacancies we are acting as an Employment Business.
