OPERATIONS PROCESSOR (PARCEL SORTER)

AVTAV are proud to be working in cooperation with DHL a global logistics company proving courier, package delivery and express mail services

• Role - Operations Processor (parcel sorter)
• Location - EDINBURGH
• Shifts - Mon - Fri
• Hours - 16.00-20.00 MON-FRI 20 HRS A WEEK
• Pay between 08.00am -19.00pm: 11.65 per hour
• Pay between 19.00pm - 08.00am: 14.30 per hour
• Pay Saturdays: Additional 1 per hour
• Pay Sundays: Additional 2 per hour
• Pay OT: 16.80

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Scanning and processing all incoming parcels
• Sorting parcels by hand
• Observing Health & Safety Rules and keeping warehouse clean
• Bagging and labelling parcels for delivery

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE

• The ability to prioritise and have an eye for detail
• Manual lifting of shipments is required
• Good communication skills - written and verbal
• The ability to demonstrate great team work
