Process Engineering Manager

If you are an experienced process engineer with a background in working in a high technology process driven manufacturing environment, then this could be ideal for you!

The company provide products to a range of clients across defence, aerospace, security and medical sectors and have recently invested heavily in the site.

This will be a key role where you will be managing a team of engineers and take responsibility to develop effective manufacturing processes and systems.

Job Role

Maintain excellent product knowledge and understanding of shop floor processes.

Trials, installation, and commissioning of new equipment

Writing/updating of process procedures.

Lead continuous improvement activities, collaborating with all departments to maintain and improve quality and efficiency.

Plan and develop systems and procedures to improve process efficiency.

Deliver training, cross-training, mentoring, and education.

Skills and Experience

Proven experience in a similar role in the manufacturing sector

Experience of supervising and managing team members

Ability to identify issues, determine root causes, and propose solutions.

Knowledge of LEAN manufacturing, Six Sigma, FMEA, 5S, statistical process control, and 8D methodology.

Experience in auditing manufacturing processes and documentation.
