Content Writer required to join leading FinTech focused in the financial planning and advice space.

The Content Writer will play a pivotal role in creating compelling content that supports all stages of the customer journey. This position requires a creative and versatile writer who can produce engaging materials across multiple channels, including digital, print, social media, and more.

Reporting to the Marketing Director, you will help deliver the marketing content strategy by creating high quality content on financial technology and investments. Youll translate complex topics into clear, engaging materials tailored for B2B audiences such as banks, building societies, providers, advisers, employee benefit consultants, asset and fund managers.

This role involves close collaboration with teams across marketing, product development, customer support, and sales to produce impactful content for campaigns, projects, and thought leadership initiatives.

Key responsibilities

Content creation:

  • Develop high-quality, engaging content in various formats, e.g. blog posts, articles, whitepapers, case studies, infographics, videos, and social media posts.
  • Tailor content for various stages of the customer journey from awareness to decision-making.
  • Write clear and persuasive copy aligned with the brand voice.

Identify opportunities to improve the quality and consistency in investment related content.

Marketing channel support:

  • Create content for digital campaigns such as email marketing, landing pages, and online ads.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team and external designers to create visually appealing content for social media platforms.
  • Optimise content for SEO to enhance visibility and traffic.

PR and communications:

  • Assist in developing press releases, press articles, and other PR materials.
  • Work with subject matter experts to create thought leadership pieces and award submissions.
  • Collaborate with the PR agency to find opportunities for media coverage opportunities.

Sales support:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop compelling RFPs and proposals.
  • Produce sales collateral such as brochures, presentations, and case studies.
  • Ensure all sales materials are current and aligned with company messaging.


Required knowledge, experience, and qualifications:

  • Exceptional writing skills with a strong portfolio of work.
  • Strong understanding of content marketing principles and SEO best practices.
  • Proven experience creating content for social media marketing and digital advertising.
  • Ability to simplify technical information into engaging formats.
  • Strong project management skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive self-starter who can lead projects from start to finish.
  • Flexible approach to managing changing requirements.
  • Strong listening skills with the ability to draw out information, ideas, and suggestions from key stakeholders.
  • Experience in financial services or technology is a plus.
