We are looking for experienced Head Chef to at join our team at The Hare and Hounds in Newbury.

We have achieved a successful relaunch of our stunning community pub by bringing brilliant, memorable drinking and dining experiences, aiming to create a place for all the community to cherish and love. We are looking someone to help us continue that and more.

Annual salary of £38,000 to £43,000 per annum

Annual bonus based on agreed criteria and targeted results, paid annually

Share of gratuities circa £5,000 per annum, paid monthly

£500 retention bonus

Grosvenor Pubs and Inns offers a great menu with fine and hearty food created by our chefs from ethically sourced menus, and a variety of handpicked wines, beers and spirits perfectly poured by our bartenders, an extensive wine list and a range of beer and craft ales.

You will be an enthusiastic Head Chef who shares our passion for great food. You will be a strong and enthusiastic leader, leading from the front with proven capability of developing, managing and motivating kitchen teams.

This role will give you the opportunity to evolve the specials menu and exceed budgeted commercial expectations through a clear understanding of GP, P&L and labour costs.

You will work closely with the General Managers and company Directors as a key contributor to the success of the pubs.

You will also be key to ensuring a high level of quality fresh, local and seasonal food, to build the strength of our reputation and be first choice in our customers eyes.
