Within this position, you will play a key role in the business future success and have uncapped career progression opportunities.Are you looking for a varied role within an industry-leading contractor? Do you have estimating experience from a landscape or groundworks background? Are you happy to travel to sites across the South of England?This nationwide contractor are an industry leading specialist in sports pitch construction, primarily focussing on the installation of all types of sports and athletic facilities throughout the UK. The business has seen an increase in projects for pro sport clients including Football, Cricket, and Ruby pitches & facilities. As a result of this growth, an opportunity has been created for an Estimator from a transferrable background to join the team to assist in this next phase of growth.Within this role, you will be reporting to the Commercial Director and assisting the estimating team with all aspects of tendering including interpreting drawings, complete accurate take offs, preparation of tenders/bids, and travelling out to site when required.The ideal candidate will have some estimating experience from a landscaping or groundworks background and have a genuine interest in sport. This would best suit someone that likes working in part of a close-knit team, who is happy to work in the office most of the time. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated candidate where you will be able to grow alongside the business through further training, mentorship, and uncapped career progression.The Role:

  • Reporting to the Commercial Director
  • Prepare and lead the compilation of tenders & Bids, prioritising deadlines and meeting company objectives
  • Request plans and specifications from clients
  • Develop client and business relationships
  • Occasional site visits either in South East or Midlands

The Person:

  • Some estimator experience from a transferrable industry, i.e., commercial/hard/soft landscaping or groundworks.
  • Experience with Excel
  • Looking to work for an exciting company with lots of room to progress.
  • Full UK driving licence.
