Profectus are looking for a talent IT Services Engineer to join our industry leading client in Berkshire. The role will require you to be on-site working between the hours of 9-5 Monday to Friday. Exceptional benefits such as 10% non contributory pension and 29 days holiday + bank holidays included.

In this position, you'll address a variety of technical issues, from hardware and software glitches to network failures, all while contributing to a growing, purpose-driven organization in a rapidly evolving industry.

Your Mission:

  • Expert Support: Provide exceptional IT support to end users, troubleshooting and resolving software, network, and hardware issues.
  • Proactive Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance to keep equipment in top condition, ensuring timely security patching and compliance.
  • Efficient Ticket Management: Prioritize and manage IT tickets to ensure timely resolution, meeting SLA requirements.
  • User Training & Collaboration: Train users on IT systems, and collaborate with the IT team to develop and implement IT policies.
  • Data Security: Ensure secure, compliant data access per ISO27001-ISO17025 standards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date on IT developments, recommending improvements where appropriate.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven Experience: 2-3 years in a technical support role, with a track record of resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills with an efficient approach to resolving technical issues.
  • Technical Expertise: Experience with Active Directory, Azure AD, Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, laptop builds, iOS devices, and endpoint management.
  • Security Knowledge: Understanding of IT security principles.
  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, capable of training and guiding users effectively.
  • Teamwork: Experience in IT support teams with medium-sized infrastructures (400+ devices, 250+ users).
  • Independence & Collaboration: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
