The position is for a CNC Turner on the Weekend Shift located in Newbury, West Berkshire.
The salary is £19 per hour basic rate, increasing to £23.75 per hour with the shift uplift.
The job requires candidates to have experience in machining at tight tolerances, preferably in aerospace or motorsport components.
Candidates should be familiar with Fanuc controls and self-inspection tools, with knowledge of Vericut software being desirable.
This is a permanent position with hours from 6am to 6pm Friday to Sunday, and the company offers benefits such as private healthcare and premium rate overtime.

Setting and operating a variety of CNC Lathes (Primarily Fanuc controlled Okuma lathes)
Using Fanuc controls to set, operate and edit programmes
Performing self-inspection using handheld inspection tools (verniers, calipers, micrometers etc)

The profile of a successful CNC Turner on the weekend shift:

Used to machining at tight tolerances to produce either aerospace or motorsport quality components
Familiar with self inspection tools and techniques
Capable of setting, operating and editing using Fanuc controls
Knowledge of Vericut software (desirable)
