The CNC Turner position is located in Newbury, West Berkshire, offering a salary of £30ph - £35ph (Inside IR35).
This is an initial 3-month contract for weekend shifts, with hours from 6am to 6pm Friday to Sunday or 7pm to 7am Monday to Thursday.
Candidates should possess experience in machining at tight tolerances, particularly for aerospace or motorsport components.
Key responsibilities include setting and operating CNC lathes, primarily using Fanuc controls, and performing self-inspection with handheld tools.

Setting and operating a variety of CNC Lathes (Primarily Fanuc controlled Okuma lathes)
Using Fanuc controls to set, operate and edit programmes
Performing self-inspection using handheld inspection tools (verniers, calipers, micrometers etc)

The profile of a successful CNC Turner on the nights/weekend shift:

Used to machining at tight tolerances to produce either aerospace or motorsport quality components
Familiar with self inspection tools and techniques
Capable of setting, operating and editing using Fanuc controls
Knowledge of Vericut software (desirable)
