Paralegal Required in Newbury

Our client is seeking an experienced Paralegal to join their team in West Berkshire. Your key responsibilities will include;

  • Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents, such as briefs, pleadings, and contracts
  • Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases
  • Organize and maintain legal files and documents
  • Draft correspondence and communicate with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in the case
  • Schedule appointments, meetings, and court hearings for attorneys
  • Prepare exhibits and other materials for trial or hearings
  • Assist with trial preparation, including organizing evidence and witness statements

To be successful in the role of Paralegal, you will possess the following skills and experience;

  • Experience within Family Law
  • Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
  • Excellent research and analytical skills
  • Proficient in using legal research databases and software
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with electronic filing systems
