We are currently seeking a Customer Service scheduling engineer, to join our Installation and Engineer team for our client in Newbury. As an Installation and Engineer Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of service calls and installations for our valued customers. Mainly dealing with emails and written communication you will be responsible for scheduling and processing orders. If you have previous experience with scheduling, engineers, installations, customer service, account management or project management you could be perfect for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Allocate incoming service calls to field service engineers, maximising productivity, and meeting customer SLAs.
  • Coordinate maintenance visits, optimising time windows and resources.
  • Review and adjust work progress throughout the day, prioritising high-priority calls while balancing lower priority tasks.
  • Efficiently plan engineer routes, minimising travel time and maximising job completion.
  • Make strategic decisions on work reassignments or sub-contractor deployment to meet objectives.
  • Provide first-line technical support to customers before logging service calls.
  • Process invoices and contracts for completed works, if required.
  • Analyse and process customer inquiries and coordinate installation and commissioning works.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by managing variations and processing orders, deliveries, installations, returns, and payments.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers and other departments for smooth operations.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong administration, time management, and organisational skills.
  • Confident, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
  • Ability to thrive in a changing, high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good geographical knowledge of the UK.
  • Computer and database skills, with experience in SAP.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
  • Focused on continuous improvement and best practises.
