We are seeking a dedicated General Office Administrator to join our client. This role This role involves a variety of administrative and data processing tasks, aimed at ensuring efficient office operations and supporting other staff members. The ideal candidate will be reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple tasks efficiently.

Day-to-day of the role:•    Answer and direct telephone calls.•    Greet, direct, and ensure the comfort of guests.•    Organise post and couriers.•    Manage filing and archiving as needed.•    Provide comprehensive assistance to staff members as required.

Data Processing:•    Manage daily email mailboxes and keep records via internal trackers.•    Enter container inventory details into the order management system.•    Submit VGMs, request terminal weighs, and flag issues with relevant hauliers or shipping lines.•    Ensure prompt receipt of container details and chase suppliers as necessary.•    Check loading photos and export paperwork from suppliers for accuracy and compliance with Environment Agency requirements.•    Amend order management systems and internal trackers post-shipment or after inventory updates, ensuring communication with the wider team.•    Create commercial invoices and packing lists for all Europe collections.•    Report on low weights and material quality issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications:•    Strong attention to detail and accuracy.•    Good numeracy skills.•    Ability to prioritise tasks effectively.•    Innovative use of systems to improve or ease administrative load.•    Excellent planning and prioritisation skills.•    Strong written and oral communication skills.•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office
