The Higher Level Teaching Assistant HLTA will:

  • Work with class teachers to raise the learning and attainment of Newbury pupils.
  • Promote pupils' independence, self-esteem and social inclusion
  • Give support to Newbury pupils, individually or in groups, so they can access the curriculum, take part in learning, and experience a sense of achievement, working in a nurture intervention provision and across the schools.

The Newbury based primary cannot offer any sponsorship. They encourage all graduates within the last 5 years to apply and experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to apply.
