Our client, a prominent electronics manufacturer based in Newbury, is seeking an experienced PTH Solderer to join their team on a rolling contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a well-established company known for its high standards and innovation in the electronics sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform hand soldering of through-hole components as part of the hand-assembly process.
- Assemble small electronic circuit boards, ensuring they meet stringent quality standards.
- Report directly to the Production Manager regarding progress, challenges, and any production issues.
- Conduct testing of components to verify that they meet all quality requirements.
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow technical instructions accurately.
- Proactive and able to work independently, as well as part of a team.
- Previous experience with hand soldering and small component assembly (desired).
- Basic understanding of electronic components and assembly techniques (desired).
- Good dexterity and an eye for detail.
