An excellent opportunity has arisen to work for our established client in Newbury as a Finance Analyst. Reporting to the Finance Business Manager, this role will be responsible for providing analytical and data processing support.
As the Finance Analyst, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting management in preparing weekly and monthly reports using in-house system and Excel
- Reviewing and analysing financial information - investigating anomalies, providing explanations on variances
- Analysing monthly results, performing variance analysis, identifying trends and making recommendations for improvements
- Supporting the budget process and forecasting cycles
- Assisting other members of the finance team with ad-hoc reporting

The successful Finance Analyst will have the following related skills / experience:
- CIMA / ACCA qualified (or working towards)
- Must have advanced Excel
- Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail
- Ability to problem solve and use analysis techniques
