REED Practice are working with a team of established Accountants who have been in operation for over 40 years. They are currently looking to add a client manager into their team based in Newbury.

The Client Manager Accountant will be responsible for reviewing financial accounts, management accounts, bookkeeping and vat returns prepared by more junior members of the team. They will meet with clients to go through the accounts and advise and speak to clients during the year. 

ROLE:-

  • Preparing accounts for a wide range of Limited Companies and Sole Traders on deadline and on budget.
  • Supervising a team of junior staff including reviewing work, mentoring, training and development.
  • Managing their client portfolio to ensure that the practice is giving “world- class” service.
  • Actively manage business KPI’s and proactively manage areas for improvement.
  • Generating new clients and selling services to existing clients.
  • Understanding and helping to meet the aims of the client and build a long term relationship.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have 3-4 years practice experience
  • Be technically competent (including Xero, Sage and Quickbooks)
  • Must have excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Have good team management skills
  • Be a confident and clear communicator
  • Have good people skills
  • Self motivated and with a can-do attitude
