As a Credit Risk Manager, your role will be to manage and mitigate credit risks within a high performing sales business, whilst managing a team of 2 credit controllers.

Ideally having someone who can partner well with the sales team and train on the importance of Risk is ideal.

Description

The Newbury based Credit Risk Manager will cover some of the following:

  • Partnering with the sales team to inform, train and advise on clients and their suitability
  • Implementing credit risk strategies to manage potential risks.
  • Monitoring and managing portfolio exposures.
  • Improving credit risk processes and systems.
  • Working closely with the Accounting & Finance department to manage credit risks.
  • Reporting on credit risk profiles to management.
  • Supporting the collections process and overseeing the DSO reports
  • Identifying areas for improvement in credit risk management.

Profile

A successful Credit Risk Manager should have:

  • Background in Credit Collections & ideally Risk
  • Strong analytical skills and understanding of financial statements.
  • Knowledge of credit risk methodologies and tools.
  • Advanced Excel skills
