The role encompasses month-end reporting, management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, and process improvement projects.
Candidates must be qualified accountants or qualified by experience with strong systems knowledge and Excel skills.
Key responsibilities include financial report preparation, monthly reporting, budgeting, liaising with auditors, and overseeing VAT returns.
The position offers a competitive salary of £60,000 and requires a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

Savant is looking to support a client in the recruitment of an experienced and proactive Finance Manager. The company is a smaller division of a larger, well-established organisation. This broad role covers everything from month-end reporting and management accounts to budgeting, forecasting and supporting systems and process improvement projects.

You'll need to be a qualified accountant with strong systems knowledge and solid Excel skills or be qualified by experience with good all-round exposure to the end-to-end finance tasks.

Key responsibilities include:

Preparation of financial reports, reconciliations, and management accounts
Ownership of monthly reporting, budgeting and forecasting cycles
Liaison with external auditors and third-party accountants
Oversight of VAT returns, intercompany balances, and working capital
Financial support across all business functions
Leading reporting on royalties, rebates, and inventory
Supporting a finance systems projects and process improvements
