Paraplanner | Salary to £55,000 | Newbury (Hybrid)

Are you an experienced Paraplanner looking to join a well-established independent financial planning company? We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Paraplanner to become a key part of our client’s team in the Newbury area. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work closely with financial advisors, high-net-worth clients, and industry professionals, contributing directly to the delivery of exceptional financial planning services. This position is ideal for someone with a strong analytical mindset, excellent interpersonal skills, and a thorough understanding of the financial planning process. Responsibilities

  • Engaging with high-net-worth clients both over the phone and face-to-face in a friendly and professional manner
  • Preparing detailed financial plans addressing clients’ needs, including shortfall analysis, wealth management, and contingency planning
  • Compiling and analysing client information to support meeting preparation and advice delivery
  • Ensuring client records are up-to-date on CRM systems and platforms in compliance with regulatory guidelines
  • Producing accurate and comprehensive analysis, client reports, and suitability letters for Advisor sign-off
  • Managing investment and protection applications from submission to successful completion
  • Reviewing and improving internal processes to enhance efficiency and client experience
  • Keeping up to date with current legislation, regulatory changes, and FCA procedures

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Paraplanner in a financial planning team
  • Chartered Financial Planner status or similar qualifications
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanour
  • Familiarity with financial planning software and CRM systems
  • Own transport required
