We are seeking an experienced Forklift Driver who is ready for their next step in their career. This candidate will be eager to bring their expertise, knowledge, and innovative ideas to our organisation. This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, can work independently, and has excellent communication skills to coordinate with colleagues globally.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient processes and the safety of all staff.
- Implement and refine warehouse procedures and practices to enhance productivity and safety.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Lead and train a team in manual handling and first aid procedures.
- Manage and maintain inventory accuracy and storage.
- Operate reach truck forklifts as required and ensure all equipment is maintained.
- Develop and implement innovative ideas for streamlining warehouse operations.
- Communicate effectively with international colleagues to ensure a cohesive operation.
- Resolve issues swiftly and proactively, maintaining high operational standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Driver ready for the next step.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and risk assessments.
- Certified in manual handling and first aid.
- Valid Reach Truck Forklift License.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to manage global communications.
- Independent worker with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Demonstrated ability to implement new ideas and improve warehouse processes.
