We are looking for a bright, motivated graduate eager to build a career in international trade and join a global leader in the forest trade industry.

Headquartered in Boston, USA, International Forest Products is a family-owned business and a subsidiary of the Kraft Group of Companies, with interests in sports and entertainment, real estate, paper & packaging, and forest product trading. With customers in over 80 countries worldwide, IFP is North America's largest independent forest product trading company.

This role is initially a temp to perm opportunity based in the UK subsidiary office in Newbury town centre. The hours are 9-5 Monday to Friday.

This fast-paced growing business allows you to learn about import and export documentation and build commercial awareness.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, the International Trade Administrator will provide effective support to all IFP (UK) staff by processing and monitoring daily shipping documentation ensuring data is uploaded to internal systems with no discrepancies, while assisting with the smooth running of the office.

Responsibilities

  • Daily management of email mailboxes
  • Management of daily record keeping via internal trackers
  • Enter container inventory details into order management system
  • Submit VGMs/request Terminal Weights, and flag any issues with relevant hauliers/ shipping lines
  • Ensure timely receipt of container details and chase suppliers as necessary
  • Check loading photos and export paperwork for accuracy and compliance adhering to the Environment Agency requirements
  • Amend order systems and internal trackers after shipment to reflect any changes and inform the team of changes
  • Create commercial invoices and packing lists for all European collections
  • Report on low weights and material quality issues
