Job Description: Administrator

Location: Newbury, RG14

Position Type: Temporary, Full-Time (2nd October to 15th November), then Part-Time (Mondays and Tuesdays, 09:00 to 17:30)

Hours: 09:00 - 17:30, Monday to Friday (Temporary Full-Time); 09:00 - 17:30, Monday and Tuesday (Part-Time)

Our client is looking for an experienced receptionist/ administrator to joint their team. Based in Newbury this role is ideally suited for someone who is calm under pressure, customer centric and who has an excellent telephone manner. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reception: Greet and assist visitors and clients with a professional and welcoming demeanour.
  • Strong Telephone Manner: Handle incoming calls with a courteous and professional attitude, directing them to the appropriate departments or personnel.
  • Customer-Centric Attitude: Maintain a calm, positive and customer-focused approach in all interactions.
  • Manage and Monitor Main Inbox: Oversee the main email inbox, ensuring timely and accurate responses to inquiries, forwarding any communication to the relevant department or person as required.
  • Raise Job Sheets for Installations: Prepare and manage job sheets for installation projects.
  • Order Processing and Data Input: Handle order processing and data entry tasks, including promotional orders.
  • Ad Hoc: Complete other administrative tasks as required

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Previous experience in a similar administrative role is preferred
