We are seeking a dedicated Service Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will carry out vehicle services and repairs adhering to brand technical standards. This role is ideal for someone with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering first-class customer service.
Day to Day of the Role:- Perform vehicle services and repairs in line with brand technical standards and dealership processes.
- Engage directly with customers when appropriate to discuss service details and vehicle issues.
- Provide mentorship and support to less experienced colleagues within the workshop.
- Participate in regular training to maintain and update technical skills.
- Contribute as a full member of the workshop and dealership teams, promoting a collaborative work environment.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Wear protective clothing and use equipment as supplied by the Company when necessary.
- Handle waste products and hazardous materials in compliance with company policies and C.O.S.H.H. regulations.
- Be willing to undertake additional tasks as required, ensuring they are within the scope of your skills and abilities.
- Ability to plan, organise and meet agreed work deadlines.
- Quick assimilation of information and provision of considered responses.
- Adaptable to change with a strong work ethic.
- High attention to detail and commitment to good, accurate quality of work.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.

Essential:
- Proficient with PC, Microsoft Office, and web applications.
- Full, clean driving licence.
Desirable:
- Proven track record of individual excellence.
- Previous vehicle knowledge and proven skills.
- MOT qualification.
- Relevant City & Guilds, BTEC or NVQ accreditation.
- Experience in a franchise dealership.
- Highly skilled in fault diagnosis and hold the relevant MOT Tester qualification.
