Who will you be joining?

Our client, based on the M4 near Newbury, is a leading supplier and manufacturer of specialist tools and has built an excellent reputation over 30 years of trading. As they enter a new phase of growth, they are looking to bring on board an enthusiastic self-starter to support the sales team as a Sales Administrator.

What will you be doing?

We are seeking a Sales Administrator to support the sales team and coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service. This is a full time, permanent position where accuracy and the ability to meet deadlines are of paramount importance.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Proactively building and maintaining relationships with customers
  • Processing incoming orders accurately and promptly
  • Supporting the internal sales and project management teams
  • Liaising with internal departments to fulfil customer deliveries
  • Managing product stock levels within the company
  • Engaging with customers throughout the sales cycle - quote thru delivery
  • Ensuring collaboration within the sales and account management team
  • Assisting with marketing and social media initiatives

Why would you be a good fit?

You’ll ideally have prior experience in a similar Sales Administrator role, but as training is provided, the most important qualities are:

  • Experience working in an office environment
  • Excellent communication skills - via telephone, email, and in person
  • Time management and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Proactive nature, to ensure customers receive the best possible service
  • Attention to detail, to ensure accuracy with customer orders
  • Experience with Sage 200 is desirable but not essential
