Trainee Paraplanner

Newbury, Berkshire

We are pleased to be working with an IFA firm based near Newbury, on their search for a Trainee Paraplanner to join the growing team.

Initially, the role will be split between supporting the Paraplanner as well as the Administrators ,with the view after approx. 18 months, that 80% of the role will be paraplanning.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing administration services to both existing and potential new customers
  • Following company procedures to ensure that customers receive the best possible service
  • Process new business applications and liaise with both the client and the provider to ensure the business is dealt with in an efficient and timely manner
  • Prepare and maintain client files
  • Provide the product and provider research for advisers by researching the market using the appropriate tools and following the Firm’s Investment Process
  • Prepare client annual review reports and suitability reports in a compliant and timely manner and in line with our processes

Skills and experience:

  • To be working towards the Level 4 Diploma qualification - support will be offered from the firm with this
