Location: Newbury, onsite Based in your local primary 21,710 per annum (pro-rata'd for academic 39 weeks) Full-Time, Term-Time (Monday - Friday, 08:30am - 3:30pm) | Immediate Start

We are seeking a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a Newbury Year 6 student with multiple SEN needs. This child has a lower mental age capacity (around 5 year's old/KS1), epilepsy, and requires some personal care support, including toileting. The ideal 1:1 Teaching Assistant candidate will provide stability, encouragement, and tailored support to help the student thrive both academically and emotionally.

1:1 Teaching Assistant

  • SEN experience - Whether professional as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant or personal, you should be comfortable supporting a Year 6/KS2 child with complex needs.
  • Patience and resilience - This role can be challenging, but the rewards are truly life-changing.

  • Personal care experience - The role includes assisting with basic toileting needs.
