About the Role:
A Secondary school are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Psychology & Sociology Teacher to join our team immediately. This role is ideal for a passionate educator who can teach GCSE Psychology and has the ability to deliver A-Level Sociology. The position is available on a full timebasis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in GCSE Psychology and A-Level Sociology.
- Assess, monitor, and support student progress, ensuring high standards of achievement.
- Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
- Use a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles.
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to curriculum planning.
- Provide pastoral support and guidance to students as needed.
- Participate in department meetings, training, and school events.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) preferred but not essential for strong candidates.
- Proven experience in teaching GCSE Psychology.
- Ability to teach A-Level Sociology effectively.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring students.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
