This client is seeking a passionate and motivated Technical Infrastructure Manager on an interim basis to oversee and guide the technology department within the industrial/manufacturing industry based in Thames Valley, London. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of infrastructure operations, project management and security protocols.

Description
- Oversee the daily operations of the technology department
- Develop and implement infrastructure strategies and processes
- Demonstrated experience in managing third party vendors in a complex outsourced environment
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with proven track record of managing a diverse group of senior stakeholders across multiple locations globally.
- Lead infrastructure projects from conception to completion
- Coordinate with other department leaders to ensure technology aligns with company goals
- Ensure system compliance with industry regulations and standards
- Manage technology budgets and timelines
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
- Provide training and mentorship to the technology team
Profile
A successful Technical Infrastructure Manager should have:
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven experience in infrastructure management and operations
- Strong leadership and project management skills, ideally within the manufacturing or distribution industry
- Knowledge of system security and data backup/recovery
- Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
