This nationwide contractor is a leading specialist in sports pitch construction, specializing in the design and installation of a wide range of sports and athletic facilities across the UK. With a growing portfolio of projects for professional sports clients-including football, cricket, and rugby pitches and facilities-the company is experiencing significant expansion. As part of this growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team and contribute to this next phase of development.

In this role, your time will be divided 70/30 between site and office work. You will conduct a range of surveys, including topographical, setting out, and as-laid, utilizing GPS, total stations, and other surveying equipment. Additionally, you will produce AutoCAD drawings aligned with the captured site survey data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.

The ideal candidate will have some basic experience in Land Surveying/Mapping/GPS. You should be based within a commutable distance of Newbury and be willing to travel regularly to sites across the South of England.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated candidate who will be able to grow alongside the business through further training, mentorship, and career progression.

The Role

  • Full training and mentorship
  • Conduct a variety of surveys including topograpihcal, setting out, and as laid
  • Use of surveying equipment including GPS & Totalstation
  • Produce AutoCAD drawings
  • Regualr site travel across South East of England

  • Experience in Land surveying/Mapping/GPS
  • Desire to learn and progress
  • Willingess to travel
  • Full UK driving licence
