Our client, a growing and innovative law firm, is seeking a talented Corporate Lawyer to join its Business Team (Commercial, Corporate & Employment). With a strong presence across the Thames Valley, this prestigious Legal 500 firm provides exceptional services to both corporate and private clients. As part of its growth strategy, the firm is looking for a motivated and experienced Solicitor to join its dynamic corporate team.

Role OverviewAs a Corporate Lawyer, you will handle a wide range of corporate law matters for businesses across various sectors, including IT, tech, and life sciences. You will be working with corporates, entrepreneurs and business owners on:

• Mergers and acquisitions (M&A)
• Private equity transactions
• Management buyouts (MBOs)
• Shareholder agreements
• Joint ventures and corporate governance
• Group reorganisations and partnership agreements

You will be expected to manage your own caseload, while also assisting senior team members. The role involves business development and actively promoting the team at various opportunities.

Key Requirements

• 2+ years’ PQE in corporate law, ideally gained in a corporate law firm
• Experience in handling complex M&A and private equity transactions
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
• Interest in business development and growing the firm's client base
