The Employment Team is part of the wider Business Team and advises employer clients across various industries on day-to-day employment matters, corporate transitions, workplace disputes, and redundancies.Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing expert advice to employer clients on a wide range of employment law matters.
  • Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, policies, and HR documentation.
  • Advising on and drafting settlement agreements.
  • Supporting senior team members with Employment Tribunal claims.
  • Staying up-to-date with employment law developments.
  • Representing the team at business networking events and promoting the practice on social media.
  • Delivering training and guidance to HR professionals and management on employment law topics.

The CandidateThe ideal candidate will have:

  • 2+ years' PQE in employment law, ideally gained in a commercial law firm.
  • A strong academic record and excellent analytical skills.
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrable ability to build trusting relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and teamwork skills.
