ROLE- Quality EngineerLOCATION- West BerkshireTERM- PermanentSALARY- £34,000 - £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience)My engineering client are looking to take on a Quality Engineer, on a permanent basis, in the West Berkshire area.   The Quality Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:• Degree/ HNC/ HND / NVQ qualified in Engineering or be QBE  • 2 years’ or more experience in a similar Quality Technician or Quality Engineer position ideally with transferable skills and knowledge  • Previous experience working in a similar electronics components engineering manufacturing environment but other backgrounds may also be considered • Ideally experienced in carrying out internal audits  • Excellent knowledge of ISO9001 – any other ISO experience would be desirable  • Able to work well individually as well as within a team • Have excellent communication skills  The Quality Engineer role will involve:• Working with the group Quality Manager  • Supporting all aspects of Quality – using methods such as 8D, 5 Why’s, Root Cause Analysis etc. • Always looking to improve company processes and procedures • Be involved in internal audits and leading this programme • Understanding customer feedback • Training other staff members with regards to processes and procedures  • Producing product reports as required    If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible, along with your availability and your salary expectation.
