A highly reputable and multi-award-winning law firm are seeking a Conveyancing Assistant/Paralegal to join their rapidly growing conveyancing team in Newbury.

As a Conveyancing Assistant, you will provide essential support to the conveyancing team in managing residential property transactions. You will work closely with solicitors and clients, assisting in the smooth and efficient progression of cases from instruction to post-completion.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a passion for property law, looking to develop their career within a highly supportive and progressive firm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing the day-to-day progress of residential conveyancing transactions.
  • Draft and prepare standard correspondence and legal documents.
  • Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other third parties.
  • Carry out legal research and assist with file management.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all relevant procedures and regulations.
  • Provide administrative support to solicitors, including arranging appointments and managing diaries.
  • Ensure a high level of client service and support throughout the conveyancing process.

You will have:

  • Essential: previous experience working as a Conveyancing Assistant or Paralegal
  • A keen interest in property law and conveyancing.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact confidently with clients and third parties.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Proactive, with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
  • Experience using case management software is desirable.
