Service Engineer (Lightning Protection)

Are you an Electrical Technician or similar looking to further your career in a growing Lightning Protection and Earthing Systems company? Do you want to work for a company who values their employees, invests in your training, puts you through qualifications and offers great progression routes?

On offer is the opportunity to join a growing company that specialises in Lightning Protection and Earthing Systems and work for a range of different clients within domestic, commercial and industrial sectors. Their services typically include risk assessments, compliance with safety standards, system testing and inspection, and providing consultation and training on lightning safety practices.

The day-to-day responsibilities include conducting tests and inspections, repairing failed systems, and installing new lightning protection systems according to client instructions, ensuring safety and productivity. You will also complete detailed on-site reports while working at heights using ladders, scaffolding, or MEWPs, and will be responsible for the company vehicle and equipment.

This role would suit a Service engineer with an electrical background who is looking to further their skills and progress in a growing Lightning Protection and Earthing Systems company that will invest in your training, qualifications and offer lots of progression opportunities.

The Role:

  • System Testing and Inspection
  • Repair and Installation of Lightning Protection Systems
  • Mon-Fri 7-4
  • Southern Patch with occasional travel further afield
