If your answer is 'yes' to all of those questions, then this Operations Technician role may well be the role for you. 聽 BASIC SALARY: Up to 拢45,000 聽 BENEFITS:路 Paid overtime - time and a half Mon-Sat and double time for Sundays and Bank Holidays. 路 Night shift allowance. 路 Company vehicle, fuel card, tools and PPE provided. 路 Pension following qualifying period. 路 Private medical cover following qualifying period. 路 28 days holiday, rising to 33 days with length of service. 聽 LOCATION: Andover - with national travel when required 聽 COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Basingstoke, Winchester, Newbury, Reading 聽 JOB DESCRIPTION: Operations Technician, Plant Engineer, Sewage Engineer - Environmental Services, Waste Water 聽 We are looking for an experienced Operations Technician to join the team and operate our mobile equipment currently located at various sites across the UK. 聽 The role includes travelling and working away from home as well as some shift working. 聽 This Operations Technician role will require you to: 路 Have a staggered work pattern, 10-day fortnight to include alternate weekends and changing shifts to meet customer requirements. 路 Install, operate and maintain our range of Mobile Processing Plant. 路 Optimise machine settings to achieve desired processing parameters. 路 Assist Service Engineers when on site or at the company workshop. 路 Supervise and train subcontract labour, and new starters after completion of training. 路 Understand and follow Risk Assessments and Method Statements prior to undertaking installation and operating work. 聽 PERSON SPECIFICATION: Operations Technician, Plant Engineer, Sewage Engineer - Environmental Services, Waste Water 聽 Being self motivated and well organised is essential as our Operations Technician, as you will often be working unsupervised and at remote sites. 聽 A background in process plant operations and experience in the water industry would be very beneficial. 聽 In addition to this, you must be: 路 A Plant Operator; with an understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment. 路 Flexible; you must be willing to adapt to changing requirements to meet customer demands. 路 Customer focused; you must be able to communicate at all levels and gain the trust and respect of customers. 路 Able to work away from home for periods of up to 10 days (depending on shift pattern). 路 The holder of a UK driving licence; ideally clean for manual vehicles. 聽 If you have a Forklift and/or Telehandler licence, this would also be beneficial. 聽 THE COMPANY:聽 We are a small, dynamic company established in 2001.
