Job Description:
Holden Knight Healthcare is currently recruiting for a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader (OT) / Occupational Therapist to join the Adult Services team for a local authority in Berkshire. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to lead a dynamic team and make a real impact on the lives of adults in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of Occupational Therapists within the Adult Services department.
- Conduct assessments of clients’ needs and create tailored care plans to support their independence.
- Oversee complex cases and provide clinical guidance to team members.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and best practice guidelines.
- Provide mentorship and support to staff to foster professional development.
Key Requirements:
- HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist with substantial experience in adult services.
- Proven leadership skills, with experience managing or mentoring a team.
- Strong communication and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage complex caseloads and lead by example.
- Commitment to delivering person-centred care and promoting client independence.
