Senior Operations Manager

A leading multi-disciplinary civil engineering contractor is seeking to appoint a Senior Operations Manager to lead a recently awarded five-year framework in the water sector. The business is enjoying record growth and profits and is well-placed to continue this success bringing with it excellent opportunities for career progression to Director level.

The Role

This is a strategic leadership role, with projects spread across London and the Thames Valley there is flexibility on where the Senior Operations Manager can be based. Hybrid working is on offer.

This is client focused role, and key responsibilities will include:

Delivery of water infrastructure projects across London and Thames Valley
Oversee projects from bid & design through to successful completion and hand over

Build and lead a team of high-performing professionals

Drive projects through the lifecycle process whilst ensuring compliance to support the delivery of the highest standards of HSEQ performance.

Supporting the client in the delivery of their performance commitments

Experience Required

The Senior Operations Manager will be an experienced leader with a proven track record in leading multi-functional teams and delivering against operational targets

This role will suit a commercially aware and engaged Operations Manager with a collaborative approach.

Experience in an operational manager role essential

Educated to HNC / BSc level

Experience within the water or utility sector is highly desirable however excellent Operation Managers from within the wider civil engineering sector will be given equal consideration.
