We're currently working with a leading main contractor to recruit a Technical Services Manager for a high-profile 15m commercial development in Berkshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced TSM to play a key role in delivering a complex and fast-paced project from the ground up.
The Role:
As Technical Services Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing all building services (MEP) on-site, ensuring installations are coordinated, compliant, and delivered to programme. You'll work closely with the design team, subcontractors, and project management to maintain quality and drive efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing all technical services (mechanical and electrical) on the project
- Coordinating with the design and delivery teams to ensure MEP integration
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, and submittals
- Overseeing on-site services installation and progress reporting
- Ensuring health & safety, quality assurance, and commissioning standards are met
- Liaising with subcontractors and consultants to resolve issues quickly and effectively
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Technical Services Manager or similar MEP-focused role
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
- Background working on commercial or mixed-use developments
- Able to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver under pressure
- Available for a prompt start
