The role offers a salary ranging from £45,586 to £55,974 and is a permanent, full-time position.
The Education Psychologist will focus on improving service standards for pupils and families and addressing issues concerning disadvantaged children.
Candidates must possess an Honours Degree in Psychology, be a qualified educational psychologist with HCPC registration, and have a Masters or Doctorate in Educational Psychology.

Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, a Local Authority, who are looking to recruit an experienced Education Psychologist to join their team based in Berkshire JOB DETAILSPAY RATE: £45,586 - £55,974 WORK TYPE: Permanent WORK PATTERN: Full TimeLOCATION: Berkshire JOB SUMMARYThe Education Psychologist will promote, develop and secure the highest standard of provision for pupils/students, families and schools within the given policy, budget and development framework of the Council JOB DESCRIPTIONThe duties and responsibilities of the role will include:

To contribute to the improvement of the service, by taking account of its performance against agreed targets, standards, service level agreements and national statistics.
To give appropriate attention to issues around 'Looked After Children' and other disadvantaged children and young people
The post holder will be engaged in some casework which is a high-profile customer-focused function with statutory deadlines, complex cases and appeals to Tribunals. The post holder will need to contribute to decision making which could result in either Tribunal cases or judicial review for the LA

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATEThe successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:

Honours Degree in Psychology or its equivalent recognised by the British Psychological Society
Qualified educational psychologist with HCPC registration
Masters or Doctorate in Educational Psychology
Evidence of continuing professional development
