Creating dream homes that exceed expectations:

Since 2008, it has been our true belief that every property has the potential to be extraordinary. Homes are both an emotional and financial investment. And that is where we find the real value in what we do here at Absolute Architecture because we help ensure that our clients’ aspirations are delivered within their means, to best add value to their home.

Our amazing founder, Kate, has brought together her passion for eco-sustainability and her love for blending modern living with period architecture to create the amazing team we have today. Together we work with the best local builders and craftsmen to create the homes of dreams!

Our Passivhaus accreditation puts sustainability at the heart of everything we do. We believe environmentally conscious design serves as a catalyst for innovation, pushing the boundaries of architecture and construction practices to create spaces that play a vital role in shaping a responsible, energy-efficient future and promoting healthier living environments. If you love eco-sustainability and architecture as much as we do, this might be the place for you.

You’ll mix with the best:

As a key member of our team, you’ll work alongside a supportive and highly-experienced group of professionals who are passionate about what they do. In particular, you’ll be teaming up with our Senior Project Manager Tom, ex. National Trust & English Heritage, who brings his wealth of Programme Management and Civil Engineering experience to the management of construction & heritage building restoration projects.

Your role will involve producing project cost estimates as designs progress through the RIBA work stages, handling contractor procurement, post-tender reviews, and negotiating contracts. You'll be responsible for managing construction contracts on behalf of clients, including change management, valuations, and certifications throughout the project. Additionally, you will lead project meetings and act as the main point of contact during construction, ensuring contract compliance, managing document control, and maintaining an organised project filing system.

We’re looking for an exceptional candidate who is ready to take ownership of their work and grow with us as we continue to expand. If you thrive in a role where every day brings new challenges and opportunities, and you’re eager to apply your Quantity Surveying expertise in a stimulating, fast-moving setting, this could be the perfect fit for you.

You’ll be a great match if you have the following traits:

+ Experience of tendering, post tender negotiation
+ Experience creating and administering JCT contracts
+ Experience of project cost estimating ideally on residential projects

+ Organised working methods and the ability to work to deadlines
+ The ability to build working relationships with clients, contractors and colleagues
+ Self-motivation with a strong attention to detail
+ Good problem-solving skills

What we offer in return:

+ Amazing Culture based on ‘Collaboration and Sustainability’
+ Salary range £35,000 - £55,000 depending on experience
+ Flexible working hours
+ Flexible office working
+ Private Health Insurance
+ Life Assurance
+ We operate a 9-day working fortnight (Friday office days every other week)
