A fantastic school in Newbury have an opportunity for a recent graduate to join their team in a Mental Health Assistant role in the new year, January 2025. The school provide education to students with complex needs, learning disabilities as well as social, emotional and mental health needs. As a Mental Health Assistant, the candidate would be responsible for providing students with 1-1 support and attention throughout the school day. The candidate would be encouraging students to maintain focus and work towards achieving independence and life skills. The school are looking for a graduate to join their team and work alongside the support staff and on-site professionals. As a Mental Health Assistant you will develop an understanding regarding additional needs and how to support children facing challenges while in education.
