An excellent opportunity has arisen to work for our established client in Newbury as an IT Engineer for a wonderful company with approximately 200 staff across 5 offices. Working hours are Monday - Friday, 9AM - 5:30PM. Hybrid working available after probation:

As the IT Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve various technical issues related to computing systems, networks, hardware, and software applications promptly and accurately.
  • Act as an escalation point by investigating complex problems and implementing effective long-term solutions.
  • Manage various IT projects to completion, such as migrations, upgrades, integrations, and other strategic initiatives to enhance our technological environment's stability, security, and functionality.
  • Provide trusted technical guidance and recommend best practices based on current technologies.
  • Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders.

The successful IT Engineer will have the following related skills / experience:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar IT / Technical support role
  • Strong analytical ability
  • An innovative, solution-oriented professional
  • Strong communication skills
