Job Description: This small and well-run school are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join their friendly team. You will be responsible for supervising classes during the short-term absence of teachers, ensuring that students remain on task and complete the work set by the absent teacher.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise classes and ensure students are engaged in their learning activities.
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school’s policies.
- Provide support and guidance to students as needed.
- Liaise with teaching staff to ensure continuity of learning.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role or working with children is desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively.
- A positive and proactive attitude.
