Working in support of local Special Needs Schools around Berkshire, we are usually inundated with opportunities for enthusiastic, hard working and resilient support staff that are eager to make a real difference in someone’s life.

Specifically, we are currently looking for Special Needs Assistants to work with a school in the Newbury area.

What you can expect:

  • Long term, temporary employment which can lead to a permanent offer for the right person.
  • A pay rate above the market average, starting at £85 per day for a standard 6.5hour day.
  • A dedicated, experienced, and established local consultant supporting you throughout your booking.
  • School hours, term time only meaning you can balance your own life outside of work.

What we are looking for:

  • Fulltime five days per week availability.
  • Someone with experience supporting children, ideally those with special educational needs.
  • A resilient and strongwilled person with the ability to create positive relationships with young people.
  • A minimum of GCSE level education.
  • Ideally someone with a childcare or teaching and learning qualification.
