This AMAZING SEN school in Newbury, has a nurturing and inclusive primary section, dedicated to providing exceptional education and support. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis, helping to ensure that students with special educational needs receive tailored and inclusive education.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with special educational needs.
  • Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Support classroom teachers in creating an inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Foster a positive and encouraging atmosphere for all students.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Previous experience working with children with special educational needs is highly desirable.
  • A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to working with children.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Relevant qualifications in education or childcare are advantageous.
