As the Supply Chain Manager, you’ll lead and develop our supply chain operations team, ensuring the smooth flow of goods from production to customers. You’ll be at the heart of our supply chain processes, from managing international and domestic orders to overseeing logistics, customs compliance, and supplier relationships. You will play a key role in optimising supply chain efficiency, improving service levels, and ensuring that all shipments are delivered on time and in full.

Based in our Newbury office, this full-time position offers a base salary of up to £45,000 with a generous bonus scheme and benefits package, including 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays and your birthday off), opportunities for career progression, and much more!

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate the supply chain team to optimise operations and ensure on-time, in-full delivery of orders.
  • Develop and implement KPIs to measure and enhance supply chain effectiveness.
  • Manage and oversee international and domestic logistics, ensuring compliance with trade regulations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with freight forwarders, customs agents, and key stakeholders.
  • Train team members on best practices and effective supply chain processes.
  • Proactively identify and resolve challenges related to shipments, customs clearance, and delivery schedules.
  • Continuously improve supply chain processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in a supply chain, import/export, or logistics role, preferably within FMCG.
  • Comprehensive understanding of international trade laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency with supply chain management systems, with SAP experience as a bonus.
  • Proven people management skills with a talent for inspiring and leading a team.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on operational improvement.
