We are currently seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our client's dynamic team based in Newbury. If you are looking for an exciting role in a fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you! Working hours are either 8am - 4pm or 11am - 8pm, paying £11.76 per hour. This is a temporary assignment for Monday 23rd - Friday 27th September, however this could be extended week on week.
Responsibilities:
- Efficiently and accurately pick, pack, and dispatch orders
- Conduct regular quality checks to ensure all products meet the required standards
- Handle and stack goods in a safe and organised manner
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
- Operate a computer including Microsoft Office Packages and Excel Spreadsheets
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area
- Collaborate with colleagues and other teams to achieve common goals
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is advantageous
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
- Basic understanding of health and safety procedures in a warehouse setting
- Reliable and punctual with a diligent work ethic
- Computer skills
