Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading food manufacturing company in their search for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to work in their leading facility in Newcastle-under-Lyme.
For the successful Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, our client is offering:
- Up to £51,300 per annum
- 7:00 - 7:00, 4 on 4 off (days and nights)
- Permanent position
- Overtime available with a bonus applied per shift picked up
- Free parking on-site

The Role - Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer:
- To diagnose faults and to test, repair, and maintain Mechanical / Electrical equipment
Uses PMS to support prioritisation and problem-solving (RCFA) - To complete Planned Preventative Maintenance as directed by Engineering Management.
- Fault finding and responding to breakdowns promptly
- To complete breakdown and maintenance records for all work undertaken on site.
- To take part in meetings, supervision, and training as requested.
- All functions to be carried out in accordance with ISO 9001:2000 quality management standard
What our client is looking for in a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer:
- Recognised Electrical/Mechanical apprenticeship - ESSENTIAL
- Experience within the FMCG industry - ESSENTIAL
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent minimum - ESSENTIAL
- Electrical bias - DESIRABLE
- Food manufacturing background - DESIRABLE
- IOSHH/Nebosh - DESIRABLE
