They are seeking to recruit an experienced service technician to join their vast service and installation network.

The Job you will do:

  • Act as the client point of contact for technical and reliability queries within and without the framework of the SLA.
  • Manage the flow of information and close out of issues through the JIRA helpdesk.
  • Attend scheduled internal and customer reviews
  • Attend depot on-site for unplanned events, these visits maybe need to be at short notice to meet the customers needs.
  • Work with client and internal functions to proactively identify positive and negative trends relating to performance and reliability through RMA data and field performance.
  • Support engineering change requests in a timely manner to ensure ongoing support for product in the field.
  • Provide technical support and use problem solving techniques to diagnose, troubleshoot, identify and where possible resolve system, hardware, and software issues either on site or at customer location.
  • Support Production in the repair process when necessary, or when there is no field service work, to meet On Time Delivery (OTD) targets.
  • Work on their own and part of a team to make decisions in line with the business needs.
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties within your skill set and competencies that support the business needs when required.

About you:

  • Experience in discussing technical issues and offering technical support directly to client.
  • Experience in conducting technical analysis of products and evaluating compliance and non-compliance against test specification.
  • Good oral, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to work in team environment and build relationships.
  • Initiative-taking with a can-do attitude and thirst to continuously develop and learn.
  • Diligent and able to apply a logical and common-sense approach to activities.
  • An awareness of the lifecycle of projects and the ability to identify and feedback risk.
