The Role for Audit Senior
We are seeking an experienced, fully qualified ACA or ACCA accountant to play a key role in our Audit & Assurance team. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in leading audits from planning to completion, as well as preparing accounts for larger, complex clients. You will ensure that audits are conducted to the highest standards, manage relationships with clients, and provide guidance to junior staff.

You will be responsible for creating detailed audit plans, monitoring progress against budgets, and addressing any challenges that arise during the audit process. Supervising and reviewing the work of less experienced team members, both onsite and in the office, is a critical part of this role. Additionally, you will prepare high-quality financial statements in accordance with FRS 102 and the firms standards.

Strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines are essential. You will also have the opportunity to identify areas for improvement in client processes and provide valuable insights to their operations.

Key Responsibilities for Audit Senior

  • Lead audits from planning to completion, ensuring compliance with firm procedures.
  • Supervise and review the work of junior staff, providing feedback and mentorship.
  • Prepare accounts and audit files for larger clients, delivering high-quality results.
  • Build and maintain excellent client relationships, ensuring clear communication.
